Brothers’ Weekly Potluck Halaqa

Timings: Tuesdays after Salatul Maghrib
 

Location: To be determined the day of… Meet after Salatul Maghrib in the SRC.
 

Description: You are cordially invited to our Halaqa, a good chance to be with the brothers and get to know one another better in order to strengthen brotherhood at York University. Every week there will be a different topic discussed in an informal setting.  Remember, this is a potluck however, ya ikhwaan, so please bring something to share with the brothers inshaa Allah.

Sisters’ Weekly Potluck Halaqa

Timings: Thursdays from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
 

Location: Meditation Room, Scott Religious Centre. York Univeristy.

Description: Come and join us as we explore topics of of the deen for sake of Allah for sisters not only to get to know each other, but also relate to each other in order to strengthen the Islamic bond of sisterhood. Sisters are welcome to raise questions, comments or concerns.

Potluck: So sisters, get your cooking and baking skills on for the sake of Allah! Food, drinks and store bought desert items such as cake, cookies, and other snacks are more than welcome.
