Description: A focused study of a classical text that Allaah has blessed to rectify the mistaken beliefs and misconceptions of His worshippers for over 200 years. This course, suitable for all English-speaking Muslims, including those who have not studied any classical texts, will help you pronounce, understand, and memorize the book, Kitaab at-Tawhid, by Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Abdil-Wahhaab at-Tameemee, in shaa’ Allaah. In brief, it is a book that will make you a better Muslim, by Allaah’s Permission. The Class is via WizIQ, it requires to sign up for free account, no software to install, and no lude ads.

Description: Based on the popular Madeenah Arabic-Learning Book series, this class will serve as an introduction to the Arabic Language for those already able to read vowelled Arabic (i.e. can recite from the Qur’ân). Books can be purchased from our bookstore.

Islamic Fundamentals – The Beneficial Statements of Tawheed

 

Timings: Wednesdays after Duhr

Location: Chapel Scott Religious Centre, York University.
 

Description: The description of the fundamentals of Islam and monotheism. Knowledge of the obligatory matters of Islam and the conditions of La ilaha ilallah and what nulifies it. Reading from the book Beneficial speech in Establishing the Evidences of Tawheed, this class discusses the basics of Islamic creed which every Muslim is required to believe in.

The Description of Salah (Prayer)

Timings: Thursdays after Duhr

Location: Chapel Scott Religious Centre, York University

Description: A step-by-step discussion of the Daily Prayer accompanied by evidence from the Quran and Sunnah, notable Scholars and various works. This class is helpful for any Muslim who is learning how to pray, as well as those who wish to deepen their understanding of the second pillar of Islam.
