Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated Muslims such as alumni, University faculty and staff, community members, and past MSA Executives, the Board of Directors (Board) is the overseeing body of the MSA. The Board is responsible for ensuring that the York Muslim Student Association is fulfilling its mission. It is responsible for ensuring effective organizational and strategic planning and for ensuring that MSA has adequate resources to carry out its mission and long term goals. Non-executive directors are the custodians of the governance process. They are not involved in the day-to-day running of activities but monitor the executive decisions and contribute to the development of strategy.
