I remind my seld everyyyyday that this dunya won’t last..hereafter is where its at.. Don’t get attached to this dunya..stay on deen.
It’s becoming like a favourite topic of thought for me

MashAllah, it really puts things into perspective. I like the motivator towards the end:

Imam Shafi’ also has a short poem on the confusion of this world titled, ‘This is the (reality of) Dunya’:

”A lion dies in the jungles from hunger,
While the flesh of a sheep is devoured by dogs,
And a slave may sleep on sheets of silk,
While a man of stature has a bedding of dust.”

This life is called ”Al Hayatul Dunya” literally meaning :This Lower Life

So may Allah give us the real life of the Hereafter…where?:)…in Jannah
